Over the years Sandy has researched her own family lines to her paternal Lithuanian roots and her maternal German-Danish roots.  Three out of four of her grandparents were born overseas.  Once in the U.S. they settled in New York and New Jersey.  While this gave her experience with immigration and naturalization research it was in researching the families of her friends that she initially was able to delve into America’s past, not only in New England but as far afield as Virginia, Tennessee, Colorado, California and Oregon, and back to Colonial times.

Each adventure led to exposure to a new ethnic background (Italian, French Canadian) and a new learning experience.  She would like nothing better than to learn about your ethnic group and family history too!
